In the autumn 2008, Tim Sastrowiardjo started with Wushu in Maastricht, The Netherlands, at the age of 12 years at Yuying Wushu Guan. 2 years later he switched to another club, and currently he is joining Wushu Institute Hoyer in Heerlen, The Netherlands. As such, opportunities are now given to extend and improve the required skills on international competition level. In this relative short period of Wushu history, Tim is gaining inter/national experiences.
